Imagine...

Imagination is more important then knowledge. So why don’t we dream more than we do? Why do we accept the things that we are told, the things that we see, and the emotions that we feel for what they are and rarely ever more. There are limitless possibilities in this world and yet we only explore what we know is already there. We are a society of doers not of dreamers. However, every so often an idea comes along, a brilliant thought that shimmers in our eyes that we think and dream about for what seems to be forever. We explore all of the possibilities, calculate all of the costs and then decide if that dream will remain a dream or we will overcome the odds and turn that dream into reality. A reality in which we can tell other people, show them what it is, and make them feel the same way we feel. Nevertheless after this happens we are back at the beginning, accepting what we are told, what we see, and what we are supposed to feel. For that idea is no longer and idea, it is reality. A reality in which is rarely explored.

Working class hero...

Why do people work? It’s not as if most people really enjoy working nor do they care about their jobs. They use it as a means to an end. Something that will let them buy that bigger T.V. Something that will allow them to travel the world. Something that they generally don’t like doing but yet they do it day in and day out. Things like happiness and prosperity are rarely considered as long as they can pay the bills. No wonder greed is so rampant in the world today. No wonder why great companies fall and leave it to the less fortunate to try and put things back together. We are brought up to walk in a straight line, wear the same clothes, never talk back, wash our hands, and brush our teeth. To live life without creativity, with out a genuine thought of our own, is to live no life at all. Damn conformity, political correctness and everything else that limits our ability to live a free life. Life would be so much sweeter if we never had to taste the bitter truth.
